*** An excerpt from the Logan Informer Dec 2010 **

Pilots were soon drawn to this scrappy little airline, and throughout the late spring and summer United Regional took shape. The company kicked and screamed and flew until routes were expanded into the New York airspace. Soon passengers began to see United Regional as their go-to choice for Northeast travel.
Today United Regional is one of the top operators on BVA. With regularly scheduled departures to over 50 destinations, and a sleek new fleet of Bombardier and Embraer aircraft, our guests look daily to UALR to fulfill their promise... "Wherever you're going, for business or for family, we'll fly you home."
United Regional is not a virtual airline and VAFS is not a part of our operations. Our goal is not to fly the most number of hours possible. Instead our goal is the efficient and precision flying of the route, on-time departures and arrivals, and professionalism worthy of the United name. Our first mission is always the safe and efficient delivery of our passengers - our guests - home to their loved ones. We strive to be nothing less than the Northeast's own hometown regional jet airline.
Training and interaction between company pilots is a priority at United Regional. We believe that by flying as a team that we can build strength and proficiency not typically found by the solo pilot. All our pilots agree to uphold a standard that helps makes the company respected by both pilots, controllers, and passengers alike. And we'd love for you to be a part of that.
United Regional is always expanding, always hiring. If you have at least 20 hours of turboprop or jet experience we'd love to talk with you. And since we are a training airline, whether you're ATP qualified or only have the 20 required minimum hours, you'll find the right amount of mentoring needed to hone your skills and advance through the company. Promotions are via the checkride system, and ambitious candidates will find they can quickly earn a set of golden officer's wings - and the privileges that come with them.
UALR hosts group events that regularly generate high traffic environments. Pilots receive dispatch instructions from operations with a route, departure and arrival time, gate assignment and more. Air crews are challenged to quickly calculate their assigned route, set up their aircraft, and depart on time. Pilots can expect significant traffic and will find many company aircraft sporting team colors to greet them at the terminal when they arrive.
If you have a minimum 20 hours experience in turboprop or jet aircraft, and enjoy operating in a high intensity environment, United Regional may be for you. To apply for a position at the company please download Skype and add Chief Pilot Chuck (Skype ID Splonedog) to your contact list. Or if you prefer you can email the Chief Pilot at Chuck@BostonVirtualATC.com.
Once your note of interest is received you'll receive additional orientation information designed to get you up to speed quickly. Expect a challenge, bring your A-Game, and we'll see you up there.
Welcome!
